"Inventing Tomorrow" Movie Review

Teenagers today are commonly known for doing weird stuff: flossing, and eating tide pods, and constantly Snapchatting and Youtubing their shenanigans. But it’s refreshing to have a reminder that there are teens out there doing impressive and meaningful work with their time and brain power, and that’s exactly what the documentary Inventing Tomorrow offers.

Inventing Tomorrow follows four Intel ISEF contestants as they develop some of the most important scientific and research data that high school science fairs have ever seen for this international science and engineering competition. With worthy environmental and sustainability causes backing their effort and motivation, audiences of this documentary are treated to a valuable look at what it is to be young, smart, and ambitious.

As if the stories of these teens aren’t inspiring enough on their own, the film is accompanied by an inspiring score that properly frames the monumental nature of what they’re accomplishing. Inventing Tomorrow exudes inspiration and is proficient at eliciting enthusiasm from it’s viewers, making the film a must watch for parents and their teens.
