‘1917’ Invades The Box Office Taking Top Spot

This weekend had a couple of limited to wide releases crack the top 5 at the box office. ‘1917’ dethroned Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to earn the #1 slot at the box office. Meanwhile, ‘Just Mercy’, another limited going wide this weekend earned a modest $10 million slotting it in at #4. The biggest disappointment of the weekend was ‘Underwater', the Kristen Stewart led film under performed earning only $7 million and failing to crack the top 5 landing the 7th best box office haul.
