INTERVIEW: Mukunda Michael Dewil, Director of COLLIDE (2022)

This month, Mukunda Michael Dewil has two movies releasing. One is the one room psychological thriller The Immaculate Room, which I had the pleasure of watching during test screenings last year. The other - and the center of our conversation of this interview, is his Collide, a multi-storied journey though one evening at a restaurant.

In this interview, I speak with Mukunda about making Collide, especially in relationship to the opposite types of storytelling between this - a film with multiple sets kd characters over three narratives - and The Immaculate Room - a film with only two characters in one mostly empty room.

Collide is in select theaters beginning August 5 and expands to VOD on August 12.
