"Mission Impossible: Fallout" Movie Review

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go see Mission Impossible: Fallout. Regardless on whether you're caught up watching the other five movies in the franchise, Fallout serves as an acceptable extension of the spy/thriller saga as well as a wildly entertaining standalone film.

Mission Impossible is one of those franchises, similarly to the Fast & Furious films, that’s dialed in what works best for the franchise and capitalizes on it in all the right ways. Big action sequences; unexpected plot twists; Tom Cruse and his wild stunts...it all culminates to 2 hours and 28 minutes of action bliss in Fallout.

With any well-done spy film, there’s a certain level of intellect required to not only keep up with the names and organizations being bantered around from scene to scene, but to piece together the convoluted plan that leads to the satisfying conclusion. Fortunately, Mission Impossible does all the thinking for the audience, so that anyone can instantly get the various reveals when they happen.

With this being the 6th installment to the Mission Impossible franchise, there are definitely some aspects of previous films that resurface throughout Fallout. Regardless, fully enjoying the film is mission: possible.
