Countdown to Endgame: "Captain America: The First Avenger" Review

With strong casting, a worthwhile origin story and plenty of iconic images, Captain America: The First Avenger is a good addition to the MCU and a strong start for the Captain America franchise.

Chris Evans was made for this role. In undertaking Steve Roger's character, it proves how out of place he was in Fantastic Four as the Human Torch. The pacing of the film is slow at times. The effects are on par with films for the time, even though the CGI body with Evan's face is a little off. Roger's maintaining his moral code despite being bigger and better than before is a message we can all resonate with.

In the end, The First Avenger is a strong start to the Captain America franchise thanks to strong casting and a resonating message, even if we font get to knock out Hitler over 200x.
