TIFF 2021 | "Kicking Blood" Interview PART 2 - A Discussion With Actor Luke Bilyk

In Kicking Blood, a vampire named Anna (Alanna Bale) has grown tired of her addiction to the high blood gives her. But as she watches her elderly best friend Bernice (Rosemary Dunsmore) and alcoholic stray Robbie (Luke Bilyk) struggle to combat their dependencies, she starts to learn how to handle her own vices. Blaine Thurier - a Vancouver, BC resident - wrote and directed Kicking Blood.

In this interview, Thomas talks with Luke about his role in KICKING BLOOD as Robbie and Luke shares his perspectives on the themes of the movie as well as a funny story about a scene in the film.
