Since I can remember, I have loved movies. There was just something magical about them. I adored how they could transport me to another place in time and was amazed by impact they would have on me. I followed this passion to college and studied film at the Savannah College of Art and Design. During my time at school I dipped my toe in every specialty - writer, director, sound supervisor, and video editor.
Like every 20-something fresh out of college, I questioned my place in not only my career, but also the world. Lucikly I was granted the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and discover myself. During this time I came across ForReel on Twitter. In a matter of days after getting in touch with the Editor-In-Chief, Thomas Stoneham-Judge, I had become a member of the team.
Since then I’ve written loads of reviews crossing all genres, interviewed a wide variety of filmmakers, and covered film festivals including SXSW, EarthX, Bentonville, Fantastic Fest, SCAD SAVFF, and Sundance.
