"Mile 22" Movie Review

The Peter Berg/Mark Wahlberg tandem of director and actor is on full display in Mile 22. It is a hell of a ride but a lack of substantive character development ultimately undermines what could've been a much better film.

It's pretty obvious Peter Berg is one of the best directors to do based on true events/ special forces kinds of movies and he does well with Mile 22 giving us all what we've come to expect.

Mark Wahlberg is exceptional as usual but the rest of the cast is mediocre at best. As well, there is no character development outside of 2 or 3 names.

Overall, it's a film that left more to be desired - but it was a great ride with a surprising climax.
