"Peppermint" Movie Review #1
Ladies and gentlemen, Jennifer Garner is BACK. Garner is incredible as the grieving mother and widow who takes on the cartel singlehandedly. While the story is nothing new, it's still an enjoyable ride.
I could rant and rave, but I'll just say that Peppermint can arguably be Garner's best work to date. Everything else from story to visual effects and musical score are par for the course in this particular genre of film.
Unfortunately, the gap between critics and audiences on Rotten Tomatoes is also quite large - similar to films like Death Wish and Law Abiding Citizen the gap is higher than 50 points. If you enjoyed the former you will definitely enjoy Peppermint.
