ForReel Box Office Prediction: The Happytime Murders looks to knock off Crazy Rich Asians

Crazy Rich Asians danced its way to a box office win last weekend with a strong performance and much critical acclaim. Now, the Melissa McCarthy led, The Happytime Murders brings it's dark humor into theaters in what is looking to be a tight race this weekend. 

The vast majority of projections have The Happytime Murders ranging anywhere from $13-15 million, with some high end estimates putting it up to $20 million. While it does have some social media popularity - it does not appear to be anywhere near the opening for Sausage Party ($34.2 million).
